Central Quay - Community Consultation - Event 2
Summix Capital has submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) for a mixed-use development at Central Quay, Glasgow.
Welcome
Summix CQG Developments Ltd are in the process of developing proposals to facilitate the proposed redevelopment of the Central Quay site, incorporating a c. 900 bedroom purpose-built student residential scheme, a c. 400 unit private residential development with ground floor, commercial uses, community uses and a modernisation strategy for the existing 2 Central Quay office building to attract new leasehold opportunities to complement the new development on to the site.
A Proposal of Application Notice was submitted to Glasgow City Council in October 2022 advising the Council of the preparation of the planning application.
The first public consultation event was held on 24 November 2022 where members of the public were invited to put forward comments regarding the proposals.
These comments were taken into consideration by Summix CQG Developments Ltd in preparing the proposals which are now on display as
part of this second public consultation event.
Consultation
Two consultation events will be held for the project, the first on 24 November 2022 and the second event on Wednesday 8 February from 2pm-7pm. Both events will take place between 2pm and 7pm at ‘2 Central Quay’, located at 89 Hydepark Street, Glasgow G3 8BW.
